Sales and Marketing Director,
Latin America Region
Global Fertilizer Marketing and Trading Company seeks a Sales and Marketing Director for its Latin America Regional Sales and Marketing Operations based out of Calgary, Alberta. This position reports directly to the Vice President for Latin America and the Executive Vice President, Commercial Operations.
Position Responsibilities:
- Organize and direct all marketing campaigns for the Latin America Region
- Manage and oversee all aspects of contract negotiations for sales of fertilizers, petroleum coke, sulphuric acid and sulphur for Latin America Region
- Negotiate supply contracts
- Liaise with vessel charter brokers for the delivery of goods to buyers
- Manage all aspects of vessel loading, demurrage and dispatch for the Latin America regional sales
- Work with management executives of the company to implement company policies, procedures with respect to Latin America sales and marketing strategies to achieve greater profitability
- Travel to various counties in Latin America to engage in contract negotiations and client meetings
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or industry specific field
- Minimum of 10 years work experience in sales, marketing or commerce and supply development
- Strong contract negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of vessel loading and demurrage claims
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in Spanish
- Ability to Travel
Salary:
- $90,000 to $125,000 (salary commensurate with experience)
