ICEC Egypt's office is located in the rich, cultural city of Cairo. Cairo, the capital and commercial center of Egypt, is one of the oldest cities in the world with a wealth of history. Also known as the Jewel of the Nile, Cairo is a meeting-place of the Asian, African and European worlds for intellectual, social, economic and political activity.
The best time to visit Cairo is roughly between September to April or May when the heat is more bearable to enjoy various museums, theatres, libraries and universities. The Egyptian Museum with over hundreds of thousands of works from almost every period of ancient Egyptian history is a main attraction. Another tourist attraction is the Gaza Pyramids which are the sole survivors of the Seven Wonders of the World.
